Starc unstoppable with 10 as Australia annihilate Bangladesh in two days

Australia bounce back from their opening Test defeat to level the series, routing Bangladesh by an innings and 51 runs in under two days in Mackay. The match became the second-shortest Test ever completed on Australian soil.

Starc's 10-Wicket Haul: Mitchell Starc delivered a masterclass, finishing with match figures of 10 for 51 (6/12 in the first innings, 4/39 in the second). His performance marked his fourth career 10-wicket Test haul and propelled Australia to a dominant victory.

Bangladesh's Double Collapse: After being skittled for 64 on Day 1, Bangladesh were rolled over for just 95 in their second innings, becoming the first side to be bowled out for under 100 in both innings of a Test match in Australia.

Lower-Order Extension: Resuming on Day 2 with eight wickets down, Australia pushed their first-innings score to 210 thanks to Cameron Green (67) and Nathan Lyon (32*). Shoriful Islam was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh, taking career-best figures of 7 for 48.

Australia began the day with just two wickets in hand in their first innings, but Cameron Green and Lyon made the best of their situation.
