South Africa Women set for maiden Zimbabwe tour in September this year

The historic series, which is scheduled to take place later this year, will see the first-ever tour of Zimbabwe by South Africa Women. Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed that the two teams will play five T20Is in September 2026 at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. They will also meet for the first time at the senior level in this series, having previously met twice in a quadrangular series in South Africa in May 2017. The last time Zimbabwe Women hosted the UAE Women's team in a home series was in September-October 2025. Post that, Zimbabwe have toured New Zealand and Pakistan. Zimbabwe failed to advance to the women's T20 World Cup qualifier in England next month after a disappointing performance in Nepal earlier this year.
