New South Wales kicked off Brad Haddin’s head coaching era with an extraordinary four-wicket win over Queensland at Allan Border Field, hunting down a massive 359-run target with an over to spare in the Marsh One-Day Cup.

Weibgen & Clayton Blitz: Former Australia U19 World Cup-winning captain Hugh Weibgen slammed a brilliant 125 off 89 balls (7 sixes). Alongside opening partner Jack Clayton (80 off 79), the duo shared a massive 156-run opening stand. Labuschagne's Contribution: Queensland captain Marnus Labuschagne provided middle-order muscle with a quickfire 60 off 47 balls.

NSW Bowlers Drag It Back: Despite Queensland's blistering start, fast bowlers Ben Dwarshuis (3/57) and Sean Abbott (3/77) helped bowl the hosts out with one ball remaining in their 50 overs.2nd Innings: New South Wales 359/6 (49 overs)Aggressive Powerplay Start: Promoted opener Kurtis Patterson set the tone early by smashing 63 off just 32 balls (7 sixes), helping NSW reach 50 in just 3.3 overs.
