Rahul Chahar returns to Surrey for eight County Championship game

Rahul Chahar, a spinner from India, will play eight games for Surrey in the County Championship this summer. Chahar took 10 wickets on his Surrey debut in September of last year, which was also his only appearance for the team at the time. The best first-class bowling figures by a debutant for Surrey were 8/51, which broke the 166-year-old record set by William Mudie (7/61) for eight of those 10 wickets. Beginning with the game against Hampshire on June 7 at the Oval, Chahar will now play in the final eight games of the upcoming season.
