Pakistan Wins Comfortably, Thanks to Ayub's All-Round Show

Australia's Adam Zampa took 4 wickets, but it wasn't enough to stop Pakistan's victory. Pakistan's captain, Salman Agha, praised the team's bowling performance, saying they were "outstanding with the ball". Pakistan's captain, Salman Agha, praised the team's bowling performance, saying they were "outstanding with the ball. For a fresh-faced Australian side, captain Travis Head's performance was always likely to have an outsized role in the ultimate outcome. He began brightly with a first-over six, but a brief, entertaining knock ended on 23 when Ayub had him hole out to Babar, who made up for his batting woes with three excellent catches in the deep. Saim Ayub and Salman Agha sparked a blazing start for Pakistan, shrugging off Sahibzada Farhan's early dismissal. Ayub launched his first ball for a six, setting the tone for an aggressive powerplay. The duo's partnership brought up 50 runs in just 32 balls, with Pakistan scoring 56 in the powerplay - a joint highest against Australia in T20Is. Adam Zampa proved to be Pakistan's bogeyman, snatching the momentum back with a crucial wicket. The experienced spinner's variations did the trick, breaking Saim Ayub's rhythm and getting him caught at long-on. Ayub's aggressive innings came to an end, and Pakistan's batting momentum was checked. Zampa's consistency was key, and he continued to trouble Pakistan's batsmen. Pakistan 168 for 8 (Ayub 40, Zampa 4-24, Bartlett 2-26) beat Australia 146 for 8 (Green 36, Bartlett 34*, Abrar 2-10) by 22 runs
