Ngarava ruled out, Raza takes charge for Australia ODIs - Taylor and Cremer return

Regular skipper Richard Ngarava has been ruled out of Zimbabwe's upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia due to a persistent lower-back injury. In his absence, T20I captain Sikandar Raza takes charge as captain for the series, which begins in Harare on September 15.

Captains & Squad News: Raza will lead a 15-player squad. Fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani leads the pace unit alongside Brad Evans and Newman Nyamhuri, while Tanaka Chivanga remains sidelined with an Achilles injury.  

Veteran Recalls: Brendan Taylor returns to share wicketkeeping duties with Tadiwanashe Marumani, while legspinner Graeme Cremer is back for his first ODI action since 2018. Schedule: All three ODIs are set to be played at the Harare Sports Club on September 15, 18, and 20.

This will be Zimbabwe's first ODI match-up against Australia since they travelled there in 2022 and the first time Australia have visited Zimbabwe in 12 years. The three ODIs are scheduled for September 15, 18 and 20, with all games scheduled to be played in Harare.
