Muzarabani and Ngarava Lead Zimbabwe to Victory Over Oman

Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava led their team to an 8-wicket win over Oman in the T20 World Cup. Muzarabani took 3/16, and Ngarava took 3/17, helping Zimbabwe restrict Oman to 103 runs in 19.5 overs. Brad Evans also contributed with 3/18. In response, Zimbabwe chased down the target in 13.3 overs, with Brian Bennett scoring an unbeaten 48 and Brendan Taylor adding 31. Blessing Muzarabani's powerplay magic got Oman in trouble early on! He bowled a well-disguised full delivery that caught Oman captain Jatinder Singh off guard, and the wickets started falling. Muzarabani's pace and movement proved too much for Oman's openers, setting the tone for Zimbabwe's dominant performance. Richard Ngarava's short ball did the trick, taking out Hammad Mirza, followed by Aamir Kaleem's awkward upper cut, caught at third man for just 5 runs. Blessing Muzarabani wasn't done yet, removing Karan Sonavale with another short ball, caught behind as the batter failed to time the pull shot properly. This was a great start for Zimbabwe, restricting Oman to 24/4. Brad Evans joined the party, taking the last three wickets and wrapping up Oman's innings. Richard Ngarava's return to the attack was crucial, removing Vinayak Shukla with his first delivery and Jatin Ramanandi later in the same over. Evans' hat-trick was capped off by a stunning diving catch by Brian Bennett, dismissing Nadeem Khan off the penultimate ball. Sufyan Mehmood gave Oman a glimmer of hope, taking wickets and restricting Zimbabwe's dominance. He got Tadiwanashe Marumani caught at point with his first ball, and Wasim Ali took a brilliant diving catch. Vinayak Shukla also took a fine catch, dismissing Dion Myers for a duck, with the umpire eventually calling it after a loud appeal. Taylor struck a superb reverse sweep after Bennett slapped a cut and timed a paddle sweep to start the over. Captain Raza then got them home with a cracking cover drive, sealing victory with 6.3 overs to spare.
