India women to host Zimbabwe for historic first-ever bilateral series
On Wednesday, May 6, the BCCI laid out a packed home season for its pathway sides, which include the men's and women's "A" teams and the U19 setups. India A Women will take on England A Women later in the season in Pune and Navi Mumbai before hosting Australia A Women on September 12 in Mohali and Dharamsala.
There will be three T20 games, three one-day games, and a multi-day fixture in both series. The senior women's team will then play Zimbabwe in October, the first time the two teams have played each other in a women's game. In the six-match white-ball series, Raipur will host three T20Is and Baroda will host as many ODIs.
India A will face Australia A on the men's side starting on September 22, with Puducherry hosting the entire series. The tour includes two one-day games and four four-day games, continuing the focus on red-ball development and 50-over cricket in preparation for the ODI World Cup next year.
During a five-match tour, India U19 Men will play host to Australia U19. The three one-day events will be held in Rajkot, while the two multi-day events will be held in both Rajkot and Ahmedabad.
The India U19 Women's team will also have two home games while this is going on. In June and July, they play a six-game white-ball series against Sri Lanka Women U19 in Chennai and Puducherry. In November and December, they play a five-game T20 series against England U19 Women in Baroda and Surat.
