Hyderabad Cricket Association appoints Ambati Rayudu as Director of Cricket Operations
Ambati Rayudu has been appointed director of cricket operations by the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). The former India batter will oversee cricketing activities, development programs, and operational efficiency within the HCA, according to the decision made by the Apex Council of the HCA. According to a statement released by the HCA, "His vast experience as an international cricketer is expected to bring professional insight and inspire the next generation of Hyderabad cricketers."
"Cricket should be kept apart from administration and all other administrative matters," I say. The players should be at the center of how cricket is run. "So, it is my job to look after the players' welfare and make Hyderabad what it truly deserves to be - a powerhouse of Indian domestic cricket that produces a number of international cricketers," said Rayudu, 40, who has played in 55 ODIs and six T20Is.
Rayoudu, HCA president Amarnath, and secretary M Jeevan Reddy attended the press conference where the announcement was made. "After joining here, my first priorities are clean cricket and zero tolerance for corruption. The former MI and CSK player stated, "Our first and most fundamental commitment is to eradicate corruption from cricket."
"No exceptions; anyone found guilty will be blacklisted and reported to the ACSU and BCCI." All of them, including players, parents, selectors, and umpires. The integrity of selectors will also be protected by this committee."
The Mumbai Cricket Association recently confirmed Rayudu's promise of a contract system for the players. "A player contract system is one of the things that will eventually be proposed to the secretary as well as the association," the Mumbai Cricket Association recently stated. That is something that we really want to put into action.
"I am here to serve cricket," he continued. Most importantly, I am here to serve our players. Additionally, I am here to move Hyderabad cricket to its proper location.
