Hussain Talat taken to hospital after sustaining shoulder injury

At the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday, Pakistan all-rounder Hussain Talat suffered a shoulder injury during the second match of the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. He was taken to the hospital. On the field, the team's medical staff treated Talat right away for the injury he sustained while fielding. In a statement, PCB stated, "Following the initial assessment, he has been taken to a hospital for a detailed examination." It continued, "After the doctors complete further medical evaluation, the nature and extent of the injury will be determined." Meanwhile, Pakistan batter Salman Agha was run out by Bangladesh skipper Mehidy Hasan in an unusual manner, adding drama to the match. Agha was furious. When Mohammad Rizwan hit the ball at Agha at the non-striker's end off Mehidy's bowling in the 39th over, the spinner and the batter got into a little bit of a tangle. Both Agha and Mehidy attempted to pick up the ball while Agha was still far outside the crease, but Mehidy was first to it. He quickly turned and an underarm throw resulted in a direct hit. As soon as Agha saw on-field umpire Tanvir Ahmed request the third umpire's decision after Mehidy and the Bangladesh fielders immediately appealed, he threw his arms in the air and his equipment. After scoring 64 runs off 62 deliveries, Agha screamed and pointed as he left the field. After reviewing the replay, the third umpire, Kumar Dharmasena, ruled it out, stating that the batter was out of the crease when the wickets were broken. That also brought an end to Pakistan's 109-run fourth-wicket partnership with Rizwan, which had stabilized the team after they had lost three wickets for 18 runs after a 103-run opening stand.
