Game on: Bangladesh pacers bring hosts back after Starc's magical six-for

Mitchell Starc delivered a lethal opening spell of swing bowling to skittle Bangladesh for just 64 before Bangladesh’s pacers hit back to reduce Australia to 50/3 by tea on Day 1 at Mackay.

Starc's Six-Wicket Blitz: Mitchell Starc took a 22-ball five-wicket haul, starting by dismissing Shadman Islam off the first ball of the match. He finished with remarkable figures of 6 for 12 in 10 overs, pushing his career tally past Dale Steyn (439 wickets).

Bangladesh Collapse Early: Bangladesh slid to 12/5—their lowest score at five wickets down in Test history—and were bowled out for 64 in 34 overs. No. 11 Shoriful Islam top-scored with 14 as the last five wickets added 47 runs.
