Farhan's Maiden Ton Powers Pakistan into T20 World Cup Super Eights

Pakistan secured their spot in the Super Eight of the T20 World Cup with a convincing 102-run win over Namibia, thanks to Sahibzada Farhan's maiden international century. Farhan scored an unbeaten 100 off 58 balls, hitting 11 fours and four sixes, and was supported by Salman Agha's 38 and Shadab Khan's 36. Usman Tariq's 4/16 and Shadab Khan's 3/19 led Pakistan's bowling charge, dismissing Namibia for 97. Shadab was the main character of their victory surge. He had earlier been pushed up to No. 5, ahead of Babar Azam, to help Farhan thrash 78 runs from the final six overs of their innings. He then followed up with 3 for 19, the last of them coming via a superb diving catch at square leg from Saim Ayub, off Zane Green, which spoke of Pakistan's mounting confidence. Pakistan's four-man spin cohort was the star of the show, securing a comprehensive 102-run win over Namibia and booking their spot in the Super 8s. Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, and Usman Tariq led the charge, with Usman Tariq taking 4 wickets for 16 runs and Shadab Khan claiming 3 for 19. This dominant spin display, coupled with Sahibzada Farhan's maiden international century, crushed Namibia's hopes. Pakistan's batting powerplay was a mixed bag, reflecting their inconsistent campaign. Iffy moments, like Ayub's wicket-tough 14 and Farhan's scraps for boundaries, didn't exactly inspire confidence. Yet, they managed to scrape through, thanks to some luck and Farhan's eventual explosion. But, by degrees, Pakistan settled into their work, emboldened by every over in which their under-performing middle-order was spared early exposure. Namibia rang in the changes, rotating through six options in their first eight overs. But it was their two bowlers serving up back-to-back overs who inadvertently released the mounting pressure. Sahibzada Farhan's explosive batting was on full display as he unleashed back-to-back fours off Ruben Trumpelmann and then smashed three sixes off Willem Myburgh's second over. Despite jarring his knee, Farhan's poise and power-hitting set the tone for Pakistan's dominant 102-run win over Namibia, securing their spot in the Super 8s. Shadab Khan's sharp reflexes and smart catch at midwicket set the tone for Pakistan's bowling attack. Usman Tariq's incredible variety, including carrom balls and delayed-release leggies, left Namibia's lower-order reeling. Tariq's 4 for 16, including crucial wickets like Ruben Trumpelmann and Bernard Scholtz, sealed the deal for Pakistan. Pakistan 199 for 3 (Farhan 100*, Agha 38, Brassell 2-38) beat Namibia 97 (Steenkamp 23, Tariq 4-16, Shadab 3-19) by 102 runs
