Bangladesh and the Netherlands have secured their spots in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026, held in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5, 2026. The Netherlands made history by qualifying for their first-ever T20 World Cup, defeating the USA by 21 runs (DLS method). Netherlands, meanwhile, got the better of USA by 21 runs on the DLS method at Kirtipur. Netherlands reached 90 for 2 in 12 overs, courtesy of Heather Siegers' 28 off 12 and Phebe Molkenboer's unbeaten 46, when rain intervened. Netherlands were comfortably ahead of DLS at that stage and won the game.
